The funeral of Mr. W. Schenck, father of Mrs. Orph Bratton took place at the daughters home 2 ½ miles from Mace, Sunday morning at 11 o’clock, conducted by Rev HC Riley of Mace. Interment at old Finley Cemetery southeast of Crawfordsville. 12 May 1830 – 3 Feb 1899

Jacob Schenck died at the home of his son-in-law, OW Bratton, 8 miles southeast of the city, last Friday night at the age of 69 years. The funeral occurred Sunday at Finley Chapel. -s
